Hours states they're closed on Tuesday. Usually they are, however, today is Chinese New Year's Eve, so they're open. My mom opted to come here because Chinatown is out of the way and no parking. San Bruno Ave, all the Chinese meat shops are lined up like concert queues. Don't even think to go to Ming Kee! Was thinking to go to Won Kok but parking there is no joke either! I dropped off my mom and parked closed by, waited 35 minutes, just to buy a roasted duck! $30 It was still hot! Not warm, HOT! My mom asked for half chopped and half not chopped. It smells amazing. It's really juicy and flavorful. Not too fatty just the way I like it, one of the skin was coming loose so I peeled it off and ate it. They renovated the place really nicely. Private rooms are a nice touch.

Just tried them for the first time last month and had to come back again today. Food is ready very fast and every time that I've gone staff has been very nice. I got the chicken chow mein and it's very good. Fed me twice! Thank you Ying Hui Restaurant!

First time I ordered from them was a few days after being discharged from the hospital so wanted something light. Ordered the minced beef with egg flower soup. It totally hit the spot. Soup was light and clear, lots of slices of beef, soft tofu and egg white. Ended diluting the soup with chicken stock and it was still very delicious. A couple weeks later, based on other people's positive review, I ordered a whole roast duck. Not disappointed. The dish lived up to the hype. Not too much fat. Not too salty. Meat is tender and so yummy. Would have ordered another roast duck 3 days later, but is watching my cholesterol!

I just want to say their Beijing duck is legit! My mom grew up in China. She's tried a few Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood but consistently comes here for the Beijing duck. Not worth driving across the city for Ying Hui, but if you live in the neighborhood and need a convenient option for Beijing duck, this is the one!

Still one of my go to places for the Chinese prepared meats. They must have a new chef making the chicken and duck because it's a 10x meatier and juicer than before. Expect horrible service but good Guangdong/Canton-style home cooked food.

I know this place has bad reviews primarily for their customer service, but I push that aside to get the best duck in the area. It doesn't hurt that they are only 5 minutes away. We've eaten in frequently preCovid and the servers are friendly on occasion, never bad enough to prevent me from coming again. Lemon chicken, duck and salt fish chicken fried rice and salt fish chicken tofu in claypot are our regular items.
